Blogrush Spam. . . Sigh. . .
I know everyone is sick of reading about Blogrush. I know Jill is going to puke if she reads one more story. Heck, I’m sick of reading about it
Still, I’ve got the widget up during the early periods because I’m curious about how Blogrush is panning out. I’ve decided that I’m going to click at least one link on the widget every day for a period of time. That way I can learn whether the blogs are generally targeted, good, bad, indifferent, sploggish or what - not.
So, naturally, if I see something odd or interesting, I’m writing about it. And today, I saw something “flavors” didn’t fix.
Likely through the magic of redirect, I learned about an “exciting” new ebook I can buy for $6.97. Buying it will also earn me the right to sell unlimited quantities for $6.97, earning 100% commission.
I guess Blogrush Spam was inevitable. Sigh. . .

Hopefully the manual review process will weed out most or all of this. I hope so anyways…
Lucia,
You mean you don’t want that awesome book? How could you call that spam? Don’t we all dream of SUCKING CLICKBANK DRY!!!? LOL!
Honestly, I agree that it has been very interesting watching Blog Rush in this launch phase. I think your spam link beats any of the oddities I’ve seen so far though.
Thanks for the laugh!
Sara
@Sara, not only don’t I want that book. I also don’t want to make $6.97 selling it to my readers for $6.97!
I would rather sell the comment spamming software to those who are interested in trying it. (Based on what I can see, it’s pretty easy to spot “interesting” spam posted by comment spamming software.)
Lucia,
Yeah, I think you’re right. I’ve been getting a lot of comments that seem to be for real but, upon further review, are clearly spam.
For instance, both Mike and Rachel left me a comment yesterday - on different posts - that said, “Nice blog. Thanks for the Helpfull post.” I thought it incredibly interesting that they both used the same URL and neither one could spell “helpful” correctly. =)
