I got a note last week telling me I could use the new video feature as well but … I’m in Canada so it’s a no go. They have all our addresses on file – you’d think they’d at least inform adsense users who could use this product first. LOL

I think Google doesn’t have enough inventory right now. They are building up their publisher list as they get enough ad inventory. Who knows? I was interested in this when I first read about it but I think I can wait a little longer.

@Caroline & Mitch, I’m in the US, so the US restrictions shouldn’t be a problem for me.

I’ll fiddle with the drop down menu. I didn’t see any not at Adsense saying that some of the selections they offerred might not be active. That’s stupid! I picked a general category.

@HR: I’m not quite sure how I’m going to use this, but regardless, I’m would like to get it to actually work! Usually, adsense stuff is obvious!

I’m not seeing anything come up. ProBlogger pointed out that it’s only available for US publishers at the moment, so could that be the issue?

Yup I tried doing the same thing today in a post, but I got the same link. It looks like only certain publishers are allowed so you might have better luck if you get it up if you select one of the publishers it has listed in the drop down menu. I finally got it working on one of my other sites, and the ad thing is huge.

I won’t even mention what videos were displayed when I clicked that link. I’m a 27 y.o. guy and 2 of them disgusted me lol

It looks like they have some bugs to work out. I had planned on digging into this new Adsense Video thing and posting to my blog yesterday but never got to it. Looks like it may be better off to delay. Thanks for the heads up though.
